Steep and Midnight Sun Skiing
Arctic Norway

Kågen and Narvik (May - June 2025)

May and June are among the magical months for skiing in Norway: 24-hour light, corn snow at midnight on north faces. Two areas are particularly suited: the glaciated mountains near Narvik and the island of Kågen in Skjervøy. Given 24 hours of light and the generally good stability at this time of year, the trips are aimed at those seeking steeper terrain and long tours, but there are plenty of moderate ski tours. Trips can be booked from 3 to more days.
